March Monthly Meeting

ANNOUNCING OUR NEXT MEETING:

First a few minor changes. The next meeting will be held on a Saturday morning at 10:00 vs the Sunday mornings that we have been doing for the last 6 months or so. Also our location has changed to Sweetwaters in downtown Naperville. Please note the location in the posting.

Tara and I have been busy with a few things and since February is a very short month we have decided to skip a meeting in February and have it in early March. For the rest of the year our plans are to have regular monthly meetings. Tara and I actually met up yesterday to talk about our next trips to some of the same locations in Malta and Sicily. We will miss each other by about a month. Tara will be going first, so she can share some tips with me when she gets back.

For the meeting in March, we would also like to start out with a theme each month. We did this before and it is a good way to get the meeting going. Once we get the meeting up and running we obviously are open to anything as long it is travel related. The theme for March will be How You Plan a Trip. That's what Tara and I were talking about yesterday.

Anyway, that is about it. I know some members have already been traveling in 2025 and hopefully they are in town in a few weeks to join us. We had a few new members at the last meeting and had a spirited discussion.

As always any questions let us know. The photo I posted this month was from the wester part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan last October. I have taken a group of photographers up here every year since 2021. This was the first time we saw the beautiful Northern Lights. They were spectacular.
