Field Trip to the Northwest "Science" (Creation) Museum

Price: Free Admission, bring food for later.

All secular groups and members of the community are welcome to join West Valley Freethinkers and Idaho Atheists for a visit to the Northwest "Science" Museum located at 2012 12th Ave in Nampa on the 30th of July.

We will meet at noon at the Orchard Place Clubhouse located at 450 Orchard Avenue in Nampa. Park anywhere uncovered, and walk in through the doors under the clock. Bring along whatever food or drink you care for an informal potluck dinner; we have a fridge to keep it cold in, and kitchen facilities if it needs to be heated back up.

At approximately 12:30-1pm, we will drive over to Zion Christian School, the facility currently housing the NW"S"(C)M. As representatives of the secular community, please try to remain as respectful as possible. Criticisms and the odd giggle may be hard to avoid, but please treat their exhibit as you would want them to treat any public museum.

Our field trip will end back at the Orchard Place Clubhouse by 3:30, or possibly earlier, to debrief. We will be sharing pictures on the TV after as part of our discussion about the event, so bring a camera if you like. At the same time, we will hold our potluck which will run until 7pm. There is a pool and hot tub, so bring your bathing suit and towel if you like. Alcohol is welcome, though of course no sales are permitted.
