Mother's Day Hike at Bell Trail

Discover this beautiful 7.0-mile out-and-back trail near Rimrock, Arizona. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. The first part of the trail is an easy path with some loose rocks and not much shade. The second half is rockier and less smooth, but the red rock becomes super vibrant. At the end of the trail, there's a swimming hole that's very cold.

Time:

• Meet at the trailhead at 8am OR
• Meet at Walmart on Estrella at 6:00am (park near Sally Beauty) to carpool

Bring: A minimum of 2 Ltrs of water, good hiking shoes/boots, hat, sunscreen, poles (optional), snack, Swim-ware and a towel if you want to brave the water 😉

Other important information:

I looks like it will be a warm day and there is no shade on this trail. Make sure you are able to hike 7 miles in full sun.

I am pretty sure there are restrooms at the trailhead, but no water.

Because this is Mother's Day finding a place from brunch might be difficult. I would recommend bringing a snack for the drive home.
