Join us for our monthly Topanga Wordpress Meetup. All users are invited to attend this meeting to share, collaborate and discuss all things WordPress.

6:30 - 7pm - Pizza / Social Time
Enjoy pizza and refreshments prior to the meetup. This is a great time to connect with the group and catch up. Please bring $5 to contribute for pizza. Feel free to bring any food or beverage to share (non-alcoholic).

7pm - 7:30pm - WP Super Cache Plugin Overview
Learn how to turbo charge your site using the WP Super Cache Plugin.
Suzette Franck - (mt) Media Temple WordPress Evangelist, CSS Developer and speaker extraordinaire will present. Don't miss it!

7:30 - 8:20 Super Slider Summit
There are a myriad of WordPress sliders (those slideshows that are on almost every home page these days) and in this presentation we will round up some of the best solutions so you can decide what is the right one to use for your next project. Join Lucy Beer, Jim Krenz and Andrew Behla as they share sliders that they have been using and why they like them.

8:20-8:30 Wrap up and Room Clearing
Time to gather your belongings and prepare to leave the library.

8:30-9:30 Social Time/Decompression at Canyon Bistro
The meetup continues at the Canyon Bistro (http://canyonbistrotopanga.com/) (walking distance) for some time to socialize and continue our discussions. The Canyon Bistro is located south of the library. The Topanga Wordpress Meetup Group meets on the third Thursday of every month at theTopanga Canyon Library (http://www.colapublib.org/libs/topanga/). Please join us as we start our first official meeting!

***Please note that you can only use the Library WIFI with a County Library Card. You can apply for a card at the Library and you will then receive a code that can be used to use the WIFI.
