What we’re about
Do you enjoy trail maintenance? Do you shrug off mosquitoes, ticks, flies, and gnats? Can you deal with Poison Ivy, tangles of thorns, and the occasional downed tree? Do you enjoy physical work with hand tools in the woods? Then why not join us! Most Tuesdays, from about 11:00 to 1:00, we do volunteer trail maintenance. Our bailiwick is usually the abandoned section of the trolley line trail, East and West Millstone Preserves, Zaitz Preserve, and Community Park. Longer term, we hope to relocate some sections and cut some new connectors. Call, text, or email ahead.

Let's meet at 2pm Tuesday July 15th at Zaitz Preserve. https://www.westwindsornj.org/zaitz-park The lot is immediately adjacent to the Public Works Facility. I will send an update as we get closer. I will bring:
- Electric Mower
- Electric Chainsaw
- One pry bar
- Hand clippers
- Pruning Shears,
- Lopper,
- hand saw
- Personal Protective Equipment.
Let's say about an hour, probably two at most. It is usually cool and pleasant in that deep woods. Not like today's sun!
