Hebden Bridge/ Heptonstall orienteering

We will walk from Hebden Bridge station to Heptonstall.

We will divide into groups of 3-4 people and complete an orienteering course around Heptonstall.

We will try and pair strong navigators with less experienced people.

You must download the iOrienteering app to your phone before the event starts. The app is free.

At the start you will have a QR code to scan which will show you a map which has 100 checkpoints for you to collect on it (we do not expect anyone to get all 100). Your team has 4 1/2 hours to collect as may checkpoints as possible and get to the finish line (you must get to the finish within the time limit or risk disqualification). Teams must stick together. The team with the most points wins, but the main aim is to have fun and get some exercise.
