Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival

Details
This can be a day trip or camping, or find a hotel or Air B& B someplace not too far away festival. Many people camp at it. If you do camp- bring layers of clothes for weather more cold and more hot than might be in the forecast since in the mountains one never knows. At night it can sometimes really surprise people at how chilly it can occassionally get. No matter the forecast, I also recommend to never go to any Bluegrass Festival without a rain coat of some kind and boots in case it gets muddy (even if their is no rain in the forecast). They do have food vendors there and vegetarian options are possible, but also packing some foods to eat is not a bad idea if you do that sort of thing. They also do coffee stands there.
They have famous acts on the stages, but do also have some workshop tents, and Jam tents, so some folks might want to bring an instrument. There are also chances for folks to jam out in the campgrounds and that is encouraged. I will be doing some emcee work Thursday and Friday at the Catskill Tent and then at the new Emerging Artist tent in the vendor area on Saturday. I will also be doing some photography for Bluegrass Today while there. So I am not organizing a jam per say, but you should definitely have this festival as a fun option on your radar for this week if you like to play or listen to bluegrass. Also, I put out an email with some more info on some ofter big festivals I will be attending this summer.
If you have questions, I often do not always see messages through meetup and it gets confusing how to find them again or what meetup they are from- so best to email me directly through one of my websites. www.TaraLinhardt.com or www.MusicArtsAdventures.com
Here is their website for more info.
