Meet other local hiking enthusiasts. Make a new friend or three. Burn a few calories. Enjoy nature in our fabulously beautiful Westchester County, the Hudson Valley and beyond!!

This is a hiking group with a wide range of hikes, with some that include rock scrambles. You hike at your own risk, leaders are not responsible for your safety. Please wear hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, snacks if you like.

Dogs are welcome to come with us when the event writeup says it's a dog friendly hike.

It's required that members have their name and a picture of themselves in their profile for safety.

Arthur W. Butler Memorial Sanctuary, 259 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Mt. Kisco, NY, US
Join us for a fun, intermediate local Westchester hike. This is NOT a hike for beginners, make sure your fitness level is up to the quick pace and steep climbs. 3-4 miles, 1 1/2-2 hours. Bring plenty of water, hydrate before hike. Please arrive at the Butler parking lot by 10:45am. We leave on time at 11.

Make sure you DON'T go to Westmorland Sanctuary across the road.

Kindly cancel your spot by 5pm the night before if you won't make it.

Participation is at your own risk. Hike leaders are not responsible for your safety. You may sustain an injury while hiking.

The dues to run the group are around $400.00/year. Any small contribution you would like to make to keep our great group going is appreciated. Thanks.

About Butler: A recently rebuilt Hawkwatch and a wide selection of well-maintained trails. Many interesting rock outcroppings. Deer, squirrels, chipmunks, foxes, and various raptor species.

Equipment: Sturdy hiking shoes. Plenty of water. Hiking poles if needed. Insect repellent.

Well behaved dogs welcome.
