This is a hiking group with a wide range of hikes, with some that include rock scrambles. You hike at your own risk, leaders are not responsible for your safety. Please wear hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, snacks if you like.
Dogs are welcome to come with us when the event writeup says it's a dog friendly hike.
It's required that members have their name and a picture of themselves in their profile for safety.

A mild 3-to-4-mile (up to 2.5 hours) hike in one of Westchester's famed parks. Geared towards hikers seeking a slower-moderate paced hike on hiking trails and with poles recommended. Participants are expected to keep up with the group. Restrooms not immediately available. This hike will be part 2, a continuation of our hike on Saturday, May 10, 2025, and everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a guest.
This hike will emphasize the southern section (south of the Hutchinson River Parkway) of Saxon Woods Park and we will park and enter at the Weinberg Nature Center 455 Mamaroneck Rd. Scarsdale 10583. Latitude. 40.97492, Longitude -73.75571. No easy public transportation available (train and taxi). Contact leader if interested in public transit. Joint with AMC. No fees. No pets.
