The Marshlands Conservancy is a 147-acre wildlife sanctuary composed of diverse habitats, including forest, meadow, salt marsh, and shore. The conservancy has three miles of trails and one-half mile of shoreline along Long Island Sound, which participants can explore and appreciate. The hike will take us through the woods and along hiking trails, followed by an additional outdoor tour of the Jay estate. Steve will present a brief history of John Jay.
Joint with AMC. A larger group of up to 25 other participants is possible. AMC hikers will be walking from the Harrison train station to the Marshlands parking lot after the train arrives just before 10 AM. No pets. Inclement weather postpones.

Drivers- Meet at the Marshlands parking lot (free parking) by about 10:20 AM and wait for us.
