This is a hiking group with a wide range of hikes, with some that include rock scrambles. You hike at your own risk, leaders are not responsible for your safety. Please wear hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, snacks if you like.
Dogs are welcome to come with us when the event writeup says it's a dog friendly hike.
It's required that members have their name and a picture of themselves in their profile for safety.

Description
Dog friendly. In anticipation of the AMC picnic on June 6-8, we'll hike Breakneck Pond, TMI and SBM trails. Total of 8.5 miles with modest elevation ~ 1500 ft with speed close to 2 miles/hr.
If you want to meet at Skannatati Lake to carpool or follow, let me know. The camp has a long 1 1/2 mile access road which is one lane - please drive slowly - also watch for potholes and blind turns. Going south on Seven Lake drive from Skannatati past R 106 traffic circle, the road divides for a short time, make u-turn to turn north and take first possible turn on the right. Follow ~ 1 mile to park on a grass lot to your left - watch out for a small sign. If you reach the camp, come back. There is no parking in the camp site.Please register using the link above.
