Hello!
I'm Roy, a trans guy in Westchester; I love science fiction and fantasy, and I spend as much time as possible reading it, writing it, and writing about it. I'm setting up this book club as a way for local queer nerds to meet, hang out, and read some excellent (or at least interesting) books!
We'll meet at the New Rochelle Public Library once every two weeks to talk about a book of both LGBTQ+ and SFF interest. (Other genre fiction, like mystery/crime/espionage, horror, romance, etc. is absolutely also on the table.)
Our first book, for a meeting in mid-January (exact date TBD) is going to be The Unspoken Name, by A.K. Larkwood. (In the future, we'll vote on books together; this is just to get things started!)
