SATURDAY OCTOBER 1OTH - MIANUS RIVER GORGE PRESERVE
We'll hike to Havemeyer Falls by way of the Brink of the Gorge and Bank of the River trails with a stop at Hobby Hill Quarry.
4.5 miles (approx) uphill/climbs are mostly short and easy.
3 hours or so, depending on the group (Quarry, Falls, Break, Points of Interest, Pictures, Breathing..)
This is not a race or a run. If you are going to rush or be inpatient, this is not the hike or the group for you! We don't race through the woods.
This hike is limited to 30
No picnicking, but we'll stop for a snack.
Sorry, No dogs are allowed in this preserve.
This MAY be a good hike for children over 10 who have hiked before. There is a map available with points of interest and we will be looking for and identifying them. On a previous hike, FLAT STANLEY came along :) Parents, please email me first if you have any questions! Kid policy - No whining allowed - No kidding!

Essential: Water, snack, camera. Good vibe.
Optional: Sunglasses/sunscreen/hat with a brim, anything else you need to be comfortable.
