Standout for Veterans and Federal Workers

This is a pre-existing weekly event to support veterans and federal workers, save the VA from Trump’s attempts to undermine it, and save our democracy. It’s one of the best-attended weekly protests in the area.
The illegal war against Iran has given this standout an even greater sense of urgency and purpose, as many of our veterans are grappling with the lies they were told about our past wars and the moral injury that we all should share but they too often face alone. Now they are forced to watch as another generation of soldiers is dragged into the trauma of a war with an even less defined purpose. It has to stop.
Signs connecting support for veterans with opposition to more wars are perhaps best (Healthcare Not Warfare, for example). But there are lots of signs supporting veterans in general, and simply opposing fascism. Reclaiming the US flag from those who seek to use it to support fascism is also a theme.
