Allegheny River Kayak - Tionesta to President - 7 Miles

Details
This is the second day of kayaking for our Tionesta/Cornplanter camping weekend.
This event is open to those camping with us and to anyone that wants to kayak, but not camp.
We will meet at the takeout, the President Community Boat Ramp. The parking area is behind the church, across the road from the ramp. Park in the gravel area, not the paved area, nor in the grass. A very reasonable $1 per person donation is recommended in the ramp drop box.
From there, we will condense people and kayaks into as few vehicles as possible, and shuttle to the put-in at the Tionesta Boat Launch. If you are able to haul more than one kayak, please come prepared to do so.
The Allegheny River is an easy, scenic paddle with a current, and an occasional class I rapid.
It can be shallow in some locations with some bottom scraping.
It's not a race, but we will need to paddle at a steady pace to finish at a reasonable time.
Bring plenty of water, snacks, lunch, and sunscreen. We will take a lunch break, and other breaks as needed.
If you signed up for the camping event, you should also sign up for this if you plan on kayaking.
If you want to camp, and haven't already signed up, you can do so by clicking this link:
