Hello and welcome to Western Suffolk Gals Happy Hour Club!
This group is for vibrant, fun, social, energetic, young 50+ ladies (ladies only) looking to get out and socialize with other like-minded women!
You can set your calendar for the 4th Thursday of every month for an early Happy Hour somewhere in Western Suffolk County. We will meet just once a month on the 4th Thursday!
Think of this as an early dinner or late lunch. Most events will be planned with a start time of 3:00 or 4:00 pm. A purchase will be required to participate, but it doesn't need to be a cocktail. A food purchase or a N.A. beverage would suffice.
This is not about being someone's wing man (woman in this case) to help someone meet a new partner. It's about developing friendships with women who still have lots of life left in them and don't always want to sit around and eat a lot!
We will limit event participation to no more than 8 people per event. You will need to attend at least 2 events per calendar year to remain a member.
Group size will be limited so that everyone has a chance to participate. Not everyone will be approved. Membership Dues of $12 will be collected after your 14 day free trial and then every December 31st of each year. If you are a member of my other group, your dues will be waived. Please make a note of 12/31 as when dues must be paid to stay current with your membership.
You agree not to talk politics, religion or other polarizing topics and to be kind and considerate to all members.
You will be thoughtful regarding RSVPing and cancelling. A lot of work goes into these events and it is most fair to the organizer and other members to only RSVP when you are confident you can attend. Please don't RSVP just to save yourself a space. It is important to update any RSVP or Waitlist status as soon as your availability changes. Of course, things come up that require a cancellation, but please try to limit these and be communicative with the organizer.
