*** Skill Share Day 1 ***
Hi everybody,
I will be hosting a skill share day at Yellow Rock lookout. The area has a nice undercover area where we can go through concepts and theory and then a nice beginner rock face / cliff where we can put the theory into practice.
The event will be FREE and cover three topic:
- Radios and Communications in the outdoors
- Self Rescue
- Mechanical Advantage Systems (Haul and Lower)
These skills will empower you to become more self sufficient and be an asset during future trips.
Must bring:
Harness
Descender
Prussik Cord (minimum 1, ideally more)
3 x locking carabiners
Lunch
Water
Bring if you have:
Radios
Ropes
Other outdoor equipment
I have minimal extra personal equipment to share with you if required but please reach out.
If you have no equipment or just want to come along for the theory and watch the prac you are welcome to as well.
