Details
At Western Sydney Tech Innovators (WSTI), we have cultivated the largest community-led AI movement in the region—a human-centred, AI-first community of over 1,900 founders, creators, and tech enthusiasts.
We are excited to invite you to the official launch of the Western Sydney AI Innovation Summit & Hackathon - a series of 12 diverse community events running throughout March and April, featuring industry panels, hands-on AI upskilling, and a flagship Innovation Hackathon.
This isn't just an announcement; it’s the start of a journey to equip our local entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs with the practical AI skills needed to tackle massive regional challenges including those in healthcare and housing.
Doors open at 5:00 pm for a networking session. Catered dinner and refreshments provided. Limited seats available—RSVP now to secure a spot!
The Formal Event (Starts 6:00 pm):
- Launch: Hear from Lailei Huang (Founder, WSTI), the Hon Dr Andrew Charlton MP (Assistant Minister for Science, Technology and the Digital Economy), and leaders from Investment NSW and the City of Parramatta as we kick off a two-month program of AI upskilling and innovation.
- Showcase: Witness real-world examples of AI-powered innovation currently being developed and deployed within our community for social impact.
- Forum: This is your space. We’re hosting a listening session specifically for those building and scaling tech startups in our region. We want to hear what’s working, where the hurdles are, and how policymakers can work with you to nurture a better ecosystem.
Whether you are a seasoned founder, starting to grow your first idea or just curious about how AI can enable innovative solutions, you are welcome here. Let’s build a smarter, more connected Western Sydney together.
This event is proudly supported by Investment NSW, Western Sydney Startup Hub powered by Space Cubed, City of Parramatta and Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue.
