What we’re about
This is a private membership group for individuals whom identify as a feminist and their allies who supports them. OFAM is open to all individuals who believes and advocates for equality among all people, especially between all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, classes, ages, and abilities.
Our mission is to collect, preserve, promote, and display feminist art and culture for the general public. Our vision is to create a museum that will provide a safe place for people to connect with other like-minded people, to view, celebrate, promote, and enjoy the art and culture of feminism.
OFAM will host different artists on a regular basis. The museum will also host special events that promote art and culture, such as art auctions, art shows, art classes, health and wellness groups, music concerts by female musicians, fundraising events, and networking events.
This group is a supporter of the Ohio Feminist Art Museum in central Ohio which is a non-profit, 501c3. All events will include a donation fee which goes towards the museum, paid via the "Go Fund Me" campaign. The goal of each social meetup is to bring like-minded people together to connect, reflect and engage that promotes equality, health and wellness.
