Untamed by Glennon Doyle
Details
What if the most responsible thing you can do is stop being "good" and start being real? ✨
I am eagerly anticipating our next gathering as we move from the archetypal map of the Heroine’s Journey into the raw, modern manifesto of Untamed by Glennon Doyle. If Murdock gave us the roadmap for integration and wholeness, Doyle shows us what wholeness may look like up close and personal. This memoir and "wake-up call" has become a global touchstone for women ready to stop living in the "cages" of expectation and start trusting their own internal "knowing." (approx. 8 hour audio book)
Written as a fierce reclamation of self, Untamed explores how we have been conditioned since birth to be "polite, quiet, and pleasing," and how that conditioning separates us from our wildest, truest selves. Doyle challenges us to stop asking "What should I do?" and start asking "What do I know?"
Through vulnerable storytelling and unapologetic truth-telling, we will explore how to dismantle the "shoulds" that keep us small and how to finally build a life that is entirely our own.
Themes we’ll explore:
✨ The Cage: Recognizing the cultural "rules" we’ve followed at the expense of our own happiness and how to finally break free.
✨ The Knowing: Reconnecting with that deep, internal voice—our intuition—that guided us before the world told us who we were supposed to be.
✨ Breaking the "Good Girl" Myth: Why being a "good woman" often means losing yourself, and how to trade "perfect" for "authentic."
✨ Living Untamed: Moving from the safety of the known into the "wild" territory of a life built on personal truth, boundary-setting, and radical joy.
