Isleworth Boardgamers meet at The London Apprentice (upstairs in the Riverview Room) from midday until late every Wednesday.

This is a well established group, but friendly and welcoming and best suited for those who have been regularly playing strategic board games from classics like Ticket To Ride, Catan and Great Western Trail to recent hits like Ark Nova, SETI and Shackleton Base. Newcomers always welcome and we play a broad range of games on the day.

There are no charges or entrance fee involved but we do ask that you support the pub by buying drinks and/or food from the bar as they kindly allow us use of the Riverview Room without charge.

To find us: Head up the stairs at the back of the pub to the top floor. Feel free to bring games or there should be a good selection on offer from other attendees.

If you have been to a few WLGC events, or are used to playing board games with a significant amount of rules, then this event is for you.
If not, please join us at our "Beginner Friendly" event every other week.

This is an event to play Strategy games which range from medium to heavy in complexity and last 2-4 hours, depending on the game. It can take about 15-30min to teach, again depending on the complexity of the game.

I usually advertise which game I am going to bring a few days in advance, as it can be helpful to at least be familiar with the rules. Other gamers may bring another selection of games, so be prepared to be surprised on the day.

We’re a friendly, social group that regularly play a range of board games and card games. This event has been running since June 2022 and we have a core group of regular gamers but welcome new members who are looking for a games group to play on a regular or fairly regular basis.

Games we play range from, 30min - 1hour games, to the heavier 2-3hour games. We alternate the weeks we play shorter games versus the longer strategy games (check the event title for which type of games are being played).

We like to start on time but if you do arrive late, don’t worry, it may mean you have to wait a bit until the next game starts, but we always try to accommodate where we can. If it's Strategy games night, it is more important that we start on time as the games are longer and we want to finish on time.
If you know you are going to be late please just let us know your eta.

The event is free but please keep in mind that in order to have the space and run the event on a regular basis we need to purchase drinks/food from the venue.

Also, please don’t sign up and not show up. Not only do you take up a spot for someone keen to play games but we have limited space that we need to reserve with the venue and no-shows jeopardise our relationship with the venue. Thanks for your understanding.

Join us for board games and drinks at Bella Vita in Twickenham.
We play a wide range of modern board and card games and typically start the evening with some light party games before getting into other favourites. All are welcome, please come and say hello.

This event has a chat group, you’ll get an invitation to join it once you register.

To find us: Head up the stairs at the back of the restaurant to the top floor.
There is no charge for the event but it helps maintain our use of the space if people buy food and/or drink from the restaurant.

Join us for a full day of Two-Player gaming at the London Apprentice in Isleworth on Saturday 29th March from 11am until 11pm.

This particular event is based around Two-Player games and is an event solely to play Two-Player games that often don't get much table time. (however provision will be made for odd-numbers).

There will be plenty of choice from longer games like Twilight Struggle to shorter games like Battle Line. The only requirement is that it is a game designed for two-players.
