Westminster Mall - Film Nerds Meetup!

Westminster Mall once buzzed with life.... now it’s one of Southern Cali's “dead malls” waiting for a comeback. Let’s capture it before it disappears!

This Meetup brings together photographers, videographers, and storytellers to explore, document, even an iPhone is a great way to take it all in before it's too late!

We’ll meet in the main parking lot near the front do a short orientation, then walk the property and film it and generally just hang out at the mall and walk around it.

This is part of a YouTube documentary project about the decline of local malls. Participants may appear in background footage or interviews if you’re comfortable being on camera. (You can opt out on arrival not a problem.) Others will be filming as well so just inform the organizer you don't want to be on camera.

I just want to gather people with an interest in Film and Media to join together to film a declining mall before it goes away.
