Opportunity for 10 days working holiday at a raw dairy farm in Wales

I hope some of you are interested in considering this fabulous opportunity for a ten day voluntary work at this delightful raw dairy farm in Wales which produces raw goat milk, soap and kefir. The family are supporters of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

Please respond directly to Shann Jones. See below.

Hi -
Are you longing to get your hands in the dirt, return to the seasonal rhythms, natural health and pure air of the country for a little while?
We run a small goatsmilk diary in beautiful southwest Wales - one of the few dairies in the UK licensed to sell raw milk. We live there in harmony with our lovingly tended, free-ranging animals and our family on our traditional sustainable smallholding overlooking the Irish sea, where we make our own cheese, soap, skin cream and kefir from the goats milk. We are looking for a person or a couple who would like to come and help around the farm from Sept 12-26, while my husband is recovering from an operation. We have on offer a lovely freshly redecorated self-catering guest cottage with a king-size bed, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and sea views, with its own entrance. This cottage will be available to rent from Nov on for £400 per week, but for a limited time a stay in the cottage would be free in exchange for light farm work. You would work a few hours in the morning, feeding the goats, giving them hay straw and water, bottling their beautiful milk (don't worry, we'll show you how!) and then you have the afternoon to yourself to enjoy nearby beaches and cliff walks. Help again with the evening milking, and the rest of the time is your own. No previous knowledge or experience necessary - just willingness to learn and a love of nature. Get the real experience of being part of nature, the land and the farm. Pick fresh tomatoes from the polytunnel and garden if you wish.

Our website is - there is a quick movie clip there to give you a sense of what we do.
