What we’re about
Are you a woman or nonbinary person with ADHD? You might be frustrated with how long you were diagnosed/self-disgnosed with depression and anxiety when you actually had ADHD. You might be tired of masking all the time. You might be in the closet at work, struggling to focus on the boring parts, while pretending you can. You might be really messy or impulsive or losing things all the time or obsessing over things until you aren’t.
Spending time with a group of women/nb with ADHD facing those same issues is SO rare in this neurotypical world. It’s a magical burst of inclusion and understanding, interruptions, people arriving late, apps being shared, books and podcasts being recommended, and future dopamine-rich plans being made. Everyone sharing their personal ADHD story means there’s no boring small talk, and bonding is pretty immediate. Join us officially once a month at Fan Girl Cafe, always a Sunday from 11am-1pm, and join our WhatsApp group where we suggest and plan other unofficial gatherings.
*This group does not replace any kind of therapy, coaching or a therapeutic support group. This is a fellowship of women and nonbinary people with ADHD.
