Film Discussion

These film events are for discussion of a film from the world at large. This means that most of the films we watch will be international or in some sense off the beaten path. All attendees should watch the film on their own sometime beforehand. (This is not a dinner event.)

“The Teachers' Lounge is a 2023 German drama film directed by Ilker Catak, who co-wrote the screenplay with Johannes Duncker. Leonie Benesch stars as a teacher tasked with finding out which of her students is responsible for a series of thefts.”

The film can be streamed from Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, and possibly elsewhere.
