One Shot Night - Level 0 Funnel Dungeon - "Wreck of the Hermes Trismegistus"

What is this Scenario?
In 1704, the Hermes Trismegistus sails full of prisoners bound to the New World and enters a patch of volatile weather. The prisoners are thrown around violently as the ship enters some kind of vortex and is pulled... somewhere.

The storm ceases. From the brig's lone porthole, nothing is visible but a strange purple sky.

Then, the ship hits a rock and begins to sink.

The prisoners must free themselves and make it to the lifeboats, lest they go down with the ship.

Oh, and the crew have all mutated into psychotic muti-limbed monstrosities.

What is a Funnel Dungeon?
Players control multiple level 0 characters within a deadly gauntlet. Any characters that survive become level 1 and pick a class.

What is this for?
This adventure is intended as a "hot start" for a campaign I'm developing at the moment, working title, "Terrarium Ark." There is no expectation that we keep playing the campaign after this. I just want to gather some playtest notes. Your feedback is welcome!

Do I need to bring anything?
Just dice and something to write with! I will have several level 0 pregens, or folks can roll up their own characters at the beginning of the session.
