Learn Modern Swing Dance (Free) + Social Dance Mixer

What do we do?
We meet every Tuesday to learn swing dance from a professional dance instructor (No Partner Required, you can choose to rotate partners during the lesson). Afterward, we will have a DJ play music for us while we practice social dance and hang out!

Who is this dance for?
Anyone who loves dancing to Hip-hop, R&B, Rap, Pop, Soul, Blues, Acoustic, Lyrical and pretty much every genre of music imaginable, CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO!

Schedule:
7:00pm: Meet OUTSIDE on the 3rd St promenade between Wilshire and Arizona, in front of 1219 3rd St, Santa Monica. (Look for a group of people congregated on the street. If you cannot find us, comment on the event or DM us on Instagram @westside_westies)

7:15pm - 8:15pm: Free Beginner Lesson on Modern Swing (a.k.a. West Coast Swing)

8:15pm - 10:30pm: Social Dancing + Hanging Out

Disclaimer: Our beginner lessons are progressive, which means every lesson builds on what we learned in previous weeks. We reset at the start of every month, so we recommend coming on the First Tuesday of a month to get the most learning benefit!
