Vibrant Women’s Community — Museum Visit & Lunch
We’ll meet at the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Hillsboro, a Smithsonian-affiliated museum known for one of the finest mineral collections in the U.S. We'll enjoy a private tour with Sara - a docent at the museum and member of our group.
Special note: Thanks to our member Sara, who is a docent at the museum, we’ll be her guests for this visit — so admission is free for our group.

🍴 2:00 PM Lunch at McMenamins Helvetia Tavern
Highlights include:
Over 20,000 specimens of minerals, fossils, meteorites, and gemstones.
The world-renowned Alma Rose Rhodochrosite, a 15-inch red crystal cluster considered one of the best examples ever found.
Local Oregon treasures, including thunder eggs (the state rock) and sunstones.
A fossil gallery with petrified wood, dinosaur bones, and ancient plant life.
Displays housed in the historic Richard and Helen Rice house, built in 1952 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
