Spooky Nature Trail at Lyonia Preserve

It’s October and you know what that means: The Spooky Nature Trail is back at the Lyonia Environmental Center!
Lyonia Environmental Center and Deltona Library are teaming up to bring you the Spooky Nature Trail, one of the most popular programs of the year!
Start your adventure in the amphitheater at 4:00 with library staff to enjoy a (not too) spooky themed story.
Starting at 4:30, the spooky trail welcomes visitors every 10 minutes. Along the way you’ll have the chance to learn about snakes, owls, insects, and more from LEC staff and volunteers.
Collect a stamp at each station to earn candy at the end, while supplies last. Candy provided by the Friends of Lyonia Environmental Center.
All ages welcome!
Costumes are encouraged but not required.
The sugar sand trail is approximately 0.1 miles/600 feet long. Closed toed shoes are highly recommended. Last entry is at 6:15 p.m. No registration required. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
