Welcome to our spring and summer weekly Open Swim or Dip Evening in Dublin for LGBTQ+ community! Wet & Wild is a friendly LGBTQ+ outdoor pursuits club. We host an event on Dublin's southside every Tuesday and on the northside every Wednesday. Join us for a refreshing and invigorating swim at one of Dublin's great swimming spots.
The venue for this week's north side swim is The Springers, Skerries. Meet at The Spingers.
Whether you're an experienced swimmer or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to take a dip in the sea and meet like-minded people who share your love of the water. This is a relaxed, informal event where you can enjoy the water at your own pace.
Do I need to be an experienced swimmer?
You need to be comfortable getting into water deeper than you can stand in. This is a FUN dip in the Irish Sea! If you want to be in and out in 5 seconds, that's totally fine.
Do I need a wetsuit?
This is optional - the water at this time year will still be fairly cold and some prefer to wear one.
Please bring a warm layer of clothing to put on when you get out of the water.
Swim at your own risk. Please look out for one another in the water.
