URBAN WALK: Ashbridges Bay to The Distillery (10 Km.)

TOTAL Meetup invites you to join a leisurely walk along the Toronto Waterfront -- from Ashbridges Bay to The Distillery District. Join this outdoor event to behold some amazing views of Lake Ontario, the Toronto skyline, Canadian geese, ducks and other wild animals. We will end our tour with a visit to the historic Distillery District, which has a vast choice of food venues and art exhibits.

All walking/ hiking levels welcome. We will take breaks along the way for beverages and/or washroom needs. Length: 10 Km.

Bring water (about 1 L) and appropriate clothing.

POST-EVENT: Weekend Brunch at The Distillery (around 2:00 PM)

Event conditional on weather. In the event of harsh weather, this walk will be cancelled or rescheduled.

We will not wait for anyone after 10:30 AM. It is not okay to join the event or call the Organizer after the event starts at 10:30 AM.

• By TTC: Take Bus #92 Southbound from Woodbine Subway Stn. (or from a bus stop on Woodbine Ave.) and get off at the last stop -- Ashbridges Bay Loop. Meet your Organizer (Walter) there.

• By Car: This is not a loop walk, so if you leave your car at the starting point, you will have to walk or take a bus back to your car. The best thing to do is leaving your car at a TTC Subway Stn., and then follow the TTC directions above to the starting point. After the event you can take a streetcar to the Yonge Subway line.
