Wexford Walking & Social Group

If you live in or near Wexford Town (ideally) or nearby or visit it regularly and want to attend events such as; walks in nature, cinema, meals out, coffee meetups, scrabble, comedy etc. and chat to nice like-minded humans ;)
join this group. We are into Walking, (medium pace, easy routes mainly ) followed by tea/coffee/lunch at local cafes/hotels.

This Group is for anyone who want to walk at a medium pace for around 1.5 to 2.5 hours (with a bathroom break :) and to chat and maybe have a laugh. The walks will be mainly in/near Wexford town and surrounds from Enniscorthy, Kilmore Quay, Rosslare harbour etc, but we should be able to travel further as the weather gets better each Summer.

WE have a few mandatory RULES for members safety and comfort:

(a) PHONES on silent : As this is social group and to encourage the ancient skill of chatting to other humans :) so phone use is NOT allowed during any Events, so as to encourage social chat and in fairness to other members. All phones must be put on "do not disturb" or off before each event.
(b) NO dogs (except certified guide dogs) or non-members allowed.
(c) NO photos or videos of members to be taken and the Group is private.
(d) PHOTO: Uploading a recognisable profile picture of yourself is mandatory. The picture must be of your face, like headshot or passport type picture or you standing or sitting somewhere, alone so not in a group. We do NOT allow images of scenery, a pet or a group photo as your profile picture.
(e) You must RSVP YES before attending an event and change your RSVP in good time if you change your mind later.

RSVP Yes & attend an Event soon (within 20 days) and enjoy meeting and chatting to friendly new people again. Join us soon for a bitta craic and some healthy walks and fun events.

JAN 2026; With rising costs there is now an annual €10 membership contribution to help pay Meetup organiser costs, due after 30 days Free trail. Inactive members (those who do not RSVP YES or attend any events) will be reminder at 3 weeks and removed from the Group after 30days.
