What we’re about

Living life without knowing life

Greetings!
You are trained at the best school, have years of experience, and are good at what you do; yet you seem to collapse in the face of adversaries. You may have married to your desired life partner and are surrounded by a loving family. You start your career and/or begin a family with full preparedness. Yet, at times, you do not want to deal with it anymore.
Putting up with the day-to-day mundane routines and uncertainties of life between family and work seems to take a toll. You begin to wonder why life is so complicated. From dealing with a challenging boss or workplace conflict, simply getting stuck in traffic, to handling situations at home such as your innocent child seeking attention, or navigating differences with your spouse, family, and friends, many things can seem insurmountable.
You often wonder if your boss or your spouse understood you better, would things would be better? Why don’t they get it?
From a 9-year-old to a 90-year-old—the common denominator of human problems seems to be everywhere— “Agony” Is life meant to be like this? Is something missing?
Why do we, as the most advanced being, struggle and feel this way while simply trying to live our life? Have you ever reflected as to why Happiness(H) seems to be constant pursuit?
People are looking for happiness and trying to do various things to be happy. Once you start looking for happiness or trying to be happiness, you invariably place happiness in the future. Because if you have a desire for something(H) means you lack whatever(H) you are chasing. Think about it. If you really had it(H) and are satisfied with it(H), why would you look for it(H)? For e.g., it is like you are hangry and are looking for a restaurant at 2 pm in the afternoon. After you found a restaurant, you ate it and are satisfied. At this point, your desire for food ceases and pursuit ceases(temporarily). Subtly, for you to constantly look for happiness means deep down a) you have knowledge of it(H), b) it(H) must have been always with you, d) therefore you are “always” looking for it(H) while being in a constant state of misery. Ironically, an innately happy person in a state of agony looking for happiness.
I can prove mathematically and scientifically that Happiness is innately part of your existence. It isn’t out there waiting to be pursued, persevered and attained. Then, where is it? It’s not here. It’s not there. It was not there. All I experience is constant agony with moments of happiness. Something seem to be grossly wrong. Is it not?
I attribute this to lack of understanding of Life. While you live, you learn and understand so many things––but not life itself. Living life without knowing life! No wonder you falter so often, trying to handle life without truly knowing anything about it.
At What is Life foundation, we inculcate the nuances of life—the science, art, math, and the language of life–– so we can live a life in rhythm and happiness with moments of unhappiness.
I welcome you to join my vision, impossible journey
