Celebrating Learning from Startup Failures

Details

What Went Wrong encourages early and repeated failure as an invaluable process of managing risk and validating knowledge.

Listen as seasoned entrepreneurs of social enterprise and startup businesses share stories of the experiments, mistakes and gambles that didn't work out — and how it gave them the answers they needed to achieve success.

Talks start at 6:30pm.

Speaker: Roslyn Campbell, Tsuno (http://tsuno.com.au)

Speaker: Anthony Aisenberg, CrowdSpot (http://crowdspot.com.au)

Anthony first launched Crowdspot as an online mapping tool for crowd-sourced commentary on cycling issues for Bicycle Victoria. After feedback and research, he recognised the platform's potential in giving citizens a voice in many issues of public interest, and went on to develop the product for customisable use. It has since been used within infrastructure campaigns for City of Melbourne, City of Greater Bendigo, TAC, Parks Victoria and City of Perth. @AAisenberg (https://twitter.com/aaisenberg)
