Morning Hike at Wekiwa Springs -Extended-hours Pass Holders Only

Details

***In order to be inside Wekiwa Springs before it opens or after it closes, you will need to Purchase the Annual Pass, then you can request the Free After-hours Pass...One received, you are able to get the Gate Code from the Ranger Station***

With the temperatures on the rise, Members have asked for earlier Hikes, so 6am it is...We will start at the Springs, hike the trail back to Sand Lake and follow the White trail out to Camp Cozy...We will take a short snack/hydration break there and then do a mini loop which will bring us back to Sand Lake...Bathroom break and then hike the trail back to the Springs; it will be a combination of a Loop and Out & Back...The expectation for mileage is between 9 & 10, but As Per Usual you can turn back at any point that you feel comfortable...I plan to spend about 30 minutes rehydrating in the 72 degree Spring after the Hike...

I recommend comfortable walking/hiking shoes, Deep Woods bug spray, sunscreen, fluids for hydration, snacks/food, and your spirit of adventure and fellowship, but we do live by the creed "Hike Your Way"...Be ready to get fresh air, exercise, engage in diverse conversations, and make some new Connections!!

If you need to cancel, please change your RSVP from "YES" to "NO". We realize things can change and it's not a big deal if you change your RSVP. Thank you...JAP3
