Green Mountain Overlook via Apopka Loop Trail

Haven't done this one in 13 months, because we only venture out here when the weather is cooler...There are a few l
Lookout Towers that we can climb up into, a number of Gators in the water and/or on the banks, and we can creatively do anywhere between 6-8...The area is mostly wide open so it is really easy to turn around at any point...Generally considered an easy route; this trail is great for birding and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring...There is limited parking, so please try to arrive early...

I recommend comfortable walking/hiking shoes, Deep Woods bug spray, sunscreen, fluids for hydration, snacks/food, an umbrella/hat, and your spirit of adventure and fellowship, but we do live by the creed "Hike Your Way"...Be ready to get fresh air, exercise, engage in diverse conversations, and make some new Connections!!
