If I want to do Capitol and The Maroon Bells someday, I figure let’s start The Elk Range on one of the easier ones 👍🏼

I’ve booked two midnight to midnight 24 hour passes. The trip will be Saturday Sept 6th and the rain date will be Sunday Sept 14.

My truck can fit 5, so if lots more people wanna come, we’ll have to all park nearby and I’ll do 2x shuttle runs to get everyone to the trailhead.

NOTE: This is a difficult mountain. It’s a lot of cardio and also has some nasty technically difficult spots where a fall would likely be fatal. I’ll always do my absolute best to keep everyone safe! Always 😎. But be sure you’re ready for a class 4 difficult adventure before signing up. This is no place for super-rookies. That being said, this one is probably not a terrible first class 4 mountain. Just make sure you’ve at least got some solid class 3 experience.

This is one of THE most beautiful hikes in the whole state I’m told. Let’s go, team 🙌🏼
