CET Transit Shuttle Ride

UPDATE: ROUTE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER!!!!
Ride facts:

• Because of the rain Friday evening we're going to go to Wanoga instead of Swampy!!!
• Route: 22+ miles mostly downhill. Trailforks route planner sucks so here's the list of trails in order...

  Cascade Highlands Trail (through Tetherow)
  West Bend Trail (along Skyliner road)

  West Commerce
  Park and Ride Lot
• Meeting spot: DIFFERENT from last shuttle ride!!
• Go to the Park and Ride lot!!
• Look for Rob wearing blindingly bright orange
• Shuttle: We're taking the CET Transit to Trails bus!! Cost should be $5 but CET is inconsistent on pricing - bring 2 x $5 to be safe.

• Time: Meet at 9 am to catch the 930 am bus... It might be crowded since this is the last weekend for the transit shuttle.
• Terrain:
• EVERYTHING IS ROLLABLE (Don't let the thumbnail pic scare you!!)
• Singletrack dirt, sand, lava rocks. A variety of technical rocky areas, and some areas for jumps and drops.
• No shame in walking around!
• Look at Trailforks and youtube to learn about trails and terrain.
• Yielding: Pull over for faster riders. Ding bell if coming up on someone slower and to give pedestrians notice.
• Uphill travelers have right of way.
• Bring: Water, layers, snacks. All riders encouraged to carry a pack with supplies for flats/injuries. Be prepared!

By participating in a group ride you agree to take ownership and liability for yourself and your bike at all times and do not hold accountable Wheezy Riders, leaders, and group members. All participants must wear helmets, no exceptions. Ride at your own risk.

About Wheezy Riders: We are a Mountain biking group for people who want to have fun and not suck wind and feel like they're dying or falling behind the whole time. We have nothing to prove here! We go at a slower/social pace, stop when a group member needs it, and don't leave people behind (no drop). In 2027, we're getting off meetup.com (because it's expensive!) and changing our name to "Slow AF*" (*and fun).
