Join us as we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific-Islander art, culture, and history in Gwinnett!

Gwinnett County will commemorate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month by celebrating the rich diversity of cultures and countries that make up our AANHPI community. The county will honor the theme "Choosing Humanity" at the annual AANHPI Heritage Cultural Night, which will be held on Friday, May 15, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center.

Volunteers are needed to support the success of the event.

Tasks will include:

Decor Preparation (Wednesday, May 6 & Friday, May 8)
Day-of Event Setup
Attendee Check-in
Performer/Exhibitor Coordination Assistance
Feature Food Distribution Support
Wayfinding/Guest Engagement
Floating Support
Event Breakdown
A volunteer orientation will be held Thursday, May 7 at 6:00pm that will overview the day and what to expect. An additional orientation will be held May 9 at 11:00am for those unable to attend the first orientation. Access to the orientations will be included in the registration confirmation email.

All Gwinnett County volunteers are required to agree and complete the WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE form. Please submit the completed form to the Project/Event Organizer via email or bring a signed copy at the volunteer event.
