What we’re about

America is struggling with a “loneliness epidemic”. Many of us are more than aware that we’re lonely and we’ve made efforts to “find our tribe”, but it’s easier said than done. We may join other meet up group events, but still find it hard to fit in. Some of us find making authentic connections hard because we’re particularly unique: we think differently, we don’t fit easily into categories— we’re unicorns.

For me…

-I’m Agnostic so making friends in church doesn’t work

-I’m single…many of my friendships have faded bc friends have gotten tied up with their marriages and families

-I’m a yoga instructor and I have spiritual beliefs. But I’m not big on the chakras and crystals and reiki so fitting in with other yogis has been awkward

-I’m a (mostly) introverted black woman from the suburbs. IYKYK

I am putting myself out there on the belief that I’m not the only unicorn out there looking to meet others with a need for connection. My vision is to create a tribe of compatible women who are ready to throw a wrench in the loneliness epidemic.

We’ll go on walks, do yoga, Sister Circle, wine and dine, attend events, and support each other’s beautiful, unicorn selves 🦄🦄
