Discovery : Real Talk, Real People

Details
Most of us want deeper friendship… but don’t know where to find it.
This is for people who are tired of the small talk, the flakiness, and the “we should hang out sometime” that never happens.
What Happens at Discovery Night:
You’ll show up.
You'll wear your name tag so the host won't butcher your name.
You’ll get to answer or just listen to burning questions like:
- What kind of connection are you actually looking for?
- What makes you feel like you’ve been truly seen?
- Am I giving what I want from my friend?
We’ll do a Fishbowl Round, where everyone gets to contribute a question they want to ask others. This is meant for you to ask questions that help you figure out whether someone might be a person you’d want to build a friendship with.
We’ll also talk through a few of the friendship myths that mess with our expectations like
- If friendship takes effort, it’s not a real friendship
- If they ghosted, maybe I was too much or that person didn’t want to hang out with me
- I need to work on myself before I deserve deep connection
I am hoping you will leave with:
- A clearer picture of what kind of friendship you want
- A better sense of how you tend to show up in connection
- The option to follow up with people without awkward guessing
- And maybe even a bit of hope that you're not the only one trying to figure this out
What Happens After
At the end, if the space feels good to you, you’ll be invited to join a 4-week small group journey designed to build on what we started here—through consistent gatherings, reflection, and shared experience.
But Discovery Night stands on its own. You don’t have to commit to anything.
Just show up. Ask or answer a few questions.
See how it feels. That’s it.
