What we’re about
No matter Which Craft you're into, let's craft together!
🌳 What: Hang out in Gleisdreieck park, work on your craft project (or if you don't have one but are curious, try something new!), share something you enjoy with other people, and get to know others and their creative interests.
🤔 Why: As an avid collector of artsy and crafts-y hobbies, I love spending time doing those things with other people, as well as meeting others who like to make things, and learning about them and their creative pursuits. - This is for you if you feel the same way 🙂
🧶🖌️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Who: Everyone & all crafts and experience levels are welcome. No matter if you knit, crochet, paint, draw, sketch, stitch [or something else!], bring it and yourself.
📆 When: This is a new group, I'm planning to host this every 2 weeks for now, with the option of going weekly if there's interest.
💬 Languages: German & English work well.

🗺️📍 Important: LOCATION
Meetup doesn't always display the location map below accurately and we've been trying out different spots, so this is how to find us:- We meet near 52.49803611917842, 13.371766539961923 (Google Maps, what3words: client.solution.takes), on the lawn (Schöneberger Wiese) in the shade of the trees, between the two bridges.
- Depending on the crowds, we may be a few metres off from there.
- Spotting us: I have a large yellow "Der Holländer" bag and a sign of the Which Craft logo with me.
If you have troubles finding us, please dm Lena.
***What & who it's for
- 🌳🤝 Hang out in Gleisdreieck park, work on your craft or art project (or if you don't have one but are curious, try something new!), and get to know other creative, arts people.
- 🧶🖌️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Everyone & all crafts and experience levels are welcome. No matter if you knit, crochet, paint, draw, sketch, stitch [or something else!], bring it and yourself.
🪄 The event name is a pun, you don't have to be a witch to attend.
Getting ready & what to bring
- 👩🎨 Bring yourself and (not a must!) a craft/art project to work on. I'll also bring some watercolors, yarn, and knitting + crochet tools if you want to try something new. You may also want to bring a blanket to sit on and a beverage.
- 😷 Please take a COVID test beforehand to make the event lower-risk for everyone to attend.

📍🗺️ Where: For now, we meet in the Northern part of Gleisdreieck park, 5-10mins by foot from U1 Gleisdreieck. See info on accessibility below.
❣️⚠️ The exact location will always be up-to-date here by 11am on the day of the event, so please check out this page when you’re headed out. This is a new meetup and we’re still trying out different spots in the park to see what’s best for the group (DM Lena if you have ideas!). -
🌧️☔ In case of rain, we'll meet at the patio of a nearby (2mins away) cafe.
-
♿ Accessibility:
-
Physical accessibility: The spot is at ground level and has seating with back rests.
-
Sensory factors: As we meet in a public space, it can get crowded and a bit louder on sunny days. While I try to find spots that are a bit sheltered, I recommend bringing whatever helps you manage this kind of sensory stimulation.
-
Facilities: There's a free public restroom including a stall for wheelchair users around 100m away; unfortunately, the restroom isnt always in great shape, you may consider bringing disinfectant. There are cafés and a free water fountain 30-150m away.
-
You don’t have to make: It’s great to talk about craft and beyond, but if you don’t feel chatty or don’t have the spoons, you’re also very welcome to join if you just want to sit with friendly folks and craft without chatting.
Spending time together
- 💬 Languages: Lena speaks German & English, speakers of other languages are also very welcome (crafting is international!).
- 🙅 Be kind. Harassment and discriminatory behaviour aren't tolerated; please report any issues to the organizer.
Please DM Lena if you have any questions about the event, accessibility, or specific needs, I want to do as much as possible to make the events welcoming for all.
