🗺️📍 Important: LOCATION [updated May 3]
🌧️☔ Due to the rainy weather forecast, we'll meet at Jules B-Part Café (by U Gleisdreieck), if it’s warm enough we can sit on the Spotting us: SpoWtinv us: We’ll meet OUTSIDE JULES-B PADT on the PATIO ON THE VERY LEFT (if you’re approaching the cafe entrance). I have a large yellow "Der Holländer" bag and am wearing a black shirt.

What & who it's for

  • 🌳🤝 Hang out in Gleisdreieck park, work on your craft or art project (or if you don't have one but are curious, try something new!), and get to know other creative, arts people.
  • 🧶🖌️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Everyone & all crafts and experience levels are welcome. No matter if you knit, crochet, paint, draw, sketch, stitch [or something else!], bring it and yourself.
  • Join the Which Craft Telegram channel here: https://t.me/+yq9cQe4NEm1mMGVi

🪄 The event name is a pun, you don't have to be a witch to attend.

Getting ready & what to bring

  • 👩‍🎨 Bring yourself and (not a must!) a craft/art project to work on. I'll also bring some watercolors, yarn, and knitting + crochet tools if you want to try something new.

  • 😷 Please take a COVID test beforehand to make the event lower-risk for everyone to attend.

  • Accessibility:

  • Physical accessibility: The spot is at ground level and has seating with back rests.

  • Sensory factors: As we meet in a public space, it can get crowded and a bit louder on sunny days. While I try to find spots that are a bit sheltered, I recommend bringing whatever helps you manage this kind of sensory stimulation.

  • Facilities: There's a free public restroom including a stall for wheelchair users around 100m away; unfortunately, the restroom isnt always in great shape, you may consider bringing disinfectant. There are cafés and a free water fountain 30-150m away.

  • You don’t have to make: It’s great to talk about craft and beyond, but if you don’t feel chatty or don’t have the spoons, you’re also very welcome to join if you just want to sit with friendly folks and craft without chatting.

Spending time together

  • 💬 Languages: Lena speaks German & English, speakers of other languages are also very welcome (crafting is international!).
  • 🙅 Be kind. Harassment and discriminatory behaviour aren't tolerated; please report any issues to the organizer.

Please DM Lena if you have any questions about the event, accessibility, or specific needs, I want to do as much as possible to make the events welcoming for all.
