This is a wide, easy road through some beautiful areas. It connects Colorado Springs at the Garden of the Gods park at the south end to Highway 67 near Sedalia. It would be a fantastic drive for an SUV or a driver who is new to offroading. It also is the starting and ending points for many, many trails.
There is always room for two vehicles to pass with ease, and though it is usually very smooth there are some rough spots. The south end is miles of fairly bumpy road, and a lot of the middle and north end is full of washboards.
The south end is by far the most scenic. It starts just to the south of the Balanced Rock area inside the Garden of the Gods park. There is plenty of parking here, and it is a great spot for lunch. Once you start climbing the south part and going toward the north, you pass by some very beautiful, large houses. There is also a shooting area not too far from the south end.
The north end has quite a few spurs and campsites next to the road. You can also explore the Little Eddy Mine, which is very near quite a few other mines. These little spurs are a bit more difficult than the main road, and are not included in the trail's overall rating.
If you are running any of the other trails in this area, chances are you will spend at least a little time on Rampart Range Road. Sometimes the signs from other trails can be confusing, but you can always tell when you are on Rampart Range Road because of how much wider it is compared to the other trails. If you are ever lost, just find this wide road and you can find your way out.

(GPS Exchange File) Hope that works for you!
As you can see the description says it is a pretty easy trail, but use your own judgement please on whether you feel you can ride your moto safely.

The last snip was not zoomed in though.
I will most likely grab a bite to eat somewhere at the end of the trail in Colorado Springs and slab it back home to Superior. Please answer the question about next of kin notification in the event of an accident so we can call your loved ones....Just in case. As always, your information is private, and the only one who will have access to it is me and Dave Wayne.
Should be a great time! Now I need to go break it to the wife I am riding on one of her days off, I am so dead.......
