Sunday, May 18 — YIN TO ZEN — 1:30 pm -3pm — Class Fee: $33 — Facilitator: Kelly Sunny Rae — Location: Gathering Room — Unwind, release, and reconnect in our Yin to Zen class, led by Kelly Sunny Rae, founder of Naturally By Nature. Sunny is a Reiki Teacher, Yoga Instructor, Sound Practitioner, and Crystal Therapist, assisting others with their healing journey is her passion.

Sunny will be offering a 90-minute deeply relaxing experience that blends the stillness of Yin Yoga with the healing vibrations of sound meditation. This class begins with Yin Yoga, a slow, meditative style of yoga where poses are held for several minutes at a time. Targeting the connective tissues—ligaments, joints, and fascia—Yin helps increase flexibility, improve circulation, and support joint health. The practice encourages deep release, stillness, and introspection, making it the perfect antidote to the busyness of everyday life.

As we transition from Yin, you’ll be guided into Restorative Yoga postures designed to fully relax the body and calm the nervous system. While resting in these supported poses, you’ll be immersed in a sound meditation using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan metal bowls, chimes, a gong, and other sacred instruments. These healing frequencies work to soothe the mind, balance energy, and promote a sense of deep peace and well-being.

Whether you’re looking to unwind from your day, support your healing journey, or simply experience a deeper state of calm, Yin to Zen offers a nurturing space for stillness, surrender, and renewal. All levels welcome—no experience necessary.
