Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word for Universal Life Force. It is a method of natural healing that channels life force energy through the hands. Reiki energy replenishes energy and helps restore mental and emotional clarity and focus. Reiki treats the whole person--the mind, body, and spirit. Reiki energy brings about relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well-being. Reiki energy works because it flows through the afflicted parts of the energy field, charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where negative thoughts and feelings are found, causing the negative energy to break apart and fall away. It clears and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
