About us
This group is for anyone who is interested in coding or wants to learn how to code. Our meetups are all online and always FREE. Check out our past events to get an idea of the types of coding we do. We don't repeat the same projects so you can be sure that each time you attend, it will be something new. We welcome everyone to attend our meetups. The meetup description might state some prerequisites to set the level of expectations, but you are free to attend regardless of your computer experience even if it is to just sit in and listen.
The group was originally targeted to parents with children interested in or wanting to learn how to code. If your child (or even you) want to learn programming, then check out our courses at https://whizkidzcc.com. The classes are much smaller than our meetups and focuses on hands-on coding using our learn-by-example and learn-by-doing methodologies in a project-based manner. They are taught by instructors who are well-trained in the subject matter. For some of our classes, we use our free and powerful online coding platform, CodePad, at https://codepad.site, that we developed to improve the online learning experience. Call us at (408) 320-4660 or ask us questions at https://whizkidzcc.com/contact. We will be more than happy to consult with you on your goals.
We would not be able to do this without your support. Help spread the word about us. You can follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/whizkidzcc/.
