Folk Art Center to Hawcreek Overlook aka Lunch Rock

Hey y’all! It’s time to get back out and get to hiking!

Let’s do the Folk Art Center to the Haw Creek Overlook, aka Lunch Rock, and possibly beyond for those who would like to do that hill just after lunch rock.

This is an out-and-back that will start at the Folk Art Center. The trailhead is right next to the front doors of the center. Since it's out-and-back you can go at your own pace, and turn around whenever you feel like it. I think lunch rock and back is about 5 miles, so a little longer if you decide to conquer that last hill.

Dogs on-leash are welcome. As are any friends who might like to join.

Let's meet at 9:50 at the Folk Art Center, right by the trailhead near their front door/information kiosk. We'll leave at 10am.

And after the hike we can go to the Creekside for a bite to eat.
