Hike Hemlock Trail - Independence
Details
We are "OFF trail" for a good bit and found it somewhat rugged & challenging, (also consider this if you are bringing dogs). The hike will be short of 5 miles but there will be a 3.5 mile option,
We'll also check on the progress West Creek Conservancy is making at the former Haydite Mine site, (from the main gate) who's task is to restore the land back to it's natural state. They will be turning this land over to CVNP soon.
