Hike Brecksville - First Sunday Hike of the Season W/Coffee, Muffins + A Picnic

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT CANCELLING SUNDAY'S GET TOGETHER! COME OUT & ENJOY COFFEE, MUFFINS, HOT CHOCHOLATE OR TEA.
IF THERE IS LIGHT RAIN OR A BREAK IN THE RAIN, WE WILL DO A SHORTER HIKE. WE"LL PLAY IT BY EAR
HIKE STARTS AT AROUND 10 OR WHEN THE RAIN STOPS OR IS LIGHT
Arrive AT 9am OR SO for Coffee & Muffins, Hot Chocolate, Hot Tea & Social Time to start the WhyNot Adventures Sunday Hiking Season (Why Not?)
Please bring your favorite mug for your beverage.
The Whynot's will be providing an assortment of muffins.
2 - HIKE INFO
MEET AT THE Harriet Keeler Pavilion (across from the Brecksville Nature Center Parking Lot), We'll start the hike from the pavilion at 10am, heading to the Gorge Overlook trail & West to the gorge scenic overlook, cross Chippewa Creek Drive near the HK Memorial to the Nature Center & then head South.
About 5 miles, a shorter option available, about 3 miles, and one less hill.
3- POST HIKE PICNIC
Bring a box lunch & drink or whatever for yourself. We'll meet back in the Pavilion after the hike enjoying the fall colors and hopefully the weather (Passing on a restaurant lunch today). Lawn chairs are a good idea
